I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in Florida. I am also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor/Supervisor in the State of Maryland. I have 30 years of experience as a therapist in the mental health field. Counseling services include individual, group, and family therapy for those struggling with depression, anxiety, adult ADHD, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, family conflict, self-esteem, life transitions, grief, trauma, and a variety of other issues that impact daily living.
I also provide counseling to student-athletes at the high school and college level who are dealing with issues of performance, stress, anxiety, academic pressures, time management, injury, and other concerns that affect the athletes' performance and well-being.
I believe learning coping skills to deal with life's challenges, developing a positive attitude, improving communication, and building self-confidence are keys to having a happy, healthy, and fulfilled life. It is my goal to offer a hopeful, positive, and solution-focused approach to therapy in order to help my clients achieve that success.
