Joan Stenzler, LCSW-R, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Fresh Meadows
I am a holistic psychotherapist with a body-centered approach to healing and transforming the effects of challenging or traumatic experiences in ones life. Over the past 28 years. I continue to be amazed by the strong yearning that we humans have to heal, grow and transform and have intentionally chosen to take trainings that enhance my professional knowledge and focus on helping patients to enhance the level of wellness they experience. I offer psychotherapy to individuals and couples who want to open, heal and free themselves of attitudes, misperceptions and habits that bind, confine and diminish their capacity for happiness, contentment and peace.
I'm warm, easy to talk to and create a safe atmosphere where feelings can be expressed and healing becomes possible. I have a dynamic, contemplative approach that integrates yoga psychology, meditation philosophy & mindfulness. When we reframe our understanding of the nature of what we are experiencing, it changes everything
I am a workplace consultant who specializes in helping health care professionals to communicate more effectively, improve the quality of patient care and gain greater satisfaction in the process I offer transformative coaching sessions and dynamic onsite training programs for health care organizations.
