Thought leader in mental health and high performance Assistance in Performance and Sport Psychology. If you're struggling with mood disorders (i.e. anxiety & depression), sports injuries, trauma and PTSD and WRITERS with blocks or focus difficulties, then, I'm a psychologist that can help you. Benefit from my 30 years of experience as a clinical and sport psychologist, we will work together to help you to improve your work or general life and/or sport experience.
I've extensive experience with mental health issues, business coaching, athletes, musicians, and performing artists on performance issues since the early 1990's. I have a specialty in female athletes and published 2 books on female athletes, "Sisterhood in Sports (2014) and " Stand Up and Shout Out: Women's Fight for Equality in Sports" (2020).
Through compassion, empathy, and understanding, I work to establish a strong connection to all my clients and especially enjoy working with BIPOC clients. Early in my career, I spent a number of years working only with Latino and Black teens, adults, and families with time in the gang districts of San Diego. Also, I've worked with many Asian clients.
