I have a passion for helping people feel better emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually by empowering them with the tools and skills they need to heal themselves. Our bodies are beautifully designed to heal, but often “life” blocks this natural healing process. I work with individuals and families from upper elementary school age to senior adults. I have been exclusively in private practice for 7 years since my retirement from school counseling. I have work experience in behavioral health at Coastal Plain as well.
I have 28 years of experience in the local school system and I am comfortable helping families navigate the joys and challenges of the school years and the impact this has on families. I have also worked at Coastal Plain Hospital and helped families with serious mental illness.
