About
I am a solution-focused psychologist who uses cognitive behavioral strategies and psychodynamic approaches.
I work with adults, children and adolescents, couples, and families who present with depression, anxiety, marital/infidelity/divorce and parenting issues, educational and vocational issues, and adjustment disorders, and those who are at any stage of the divorce process. In the confidential therapeutic environment people can safely explore their issues and achieve understanding and improved personal/interpersonal functioning. I provide executive coaching with foci on developing insight into the self, anger and anxiety management, and interpersonal relationships both in the work place and at home.
I also provide psychological/psychoeducational testing services to assess learning style and learning disabilities and weakness, giftedness, and personality and emotional functioning for individuals and for court evaluations. I also accept Guardian ad Litem appointments.
I frequently say that therapy is not for the faint hearted. It requires motivation and courage to face the issues that have interfered with one's functioning or happiness. However, gaining control of one's emotional life through the therapeutic process can reap tremendous personal life long rewards.
