I am a Social Worker engaged in Private Practice since 1980. I have a wealth of practical information and useful coping strategies to assist clients with life's challenges. In addition, I have extensive experience working with veterans and others suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury.
I work with Individuals, Couples, and Families to foster healing and behavior change during troubled times. Together we develop a road-map that safely guides to new and more effective life choices. My style is directive yet comforting and always goal-oriented. My ideal clients are those seeking quality treatment.
I am insightful, perceptive, supportive and non-judgmental with a belief in positive behavioral change. To accomplish change we must listen carefully and speak our truths to achieve understanding and acceptance. I provide an atmosphere where trust exists and vulnerability can lead to change. My specialty is using myth, story, ritual, and guided imagery.
I have always been a very intuitive person. Due to a Near Death Experience, I am very tuned in to energy flow and spiritual light around others. I have also traveled to Greece to study the myths and ancient healing practices, and to Vietnam in order in order to study the healing of war wounds. Finally I have a Masters degree in Child Clinical Psychology.
