Ten years of helping individuals and couples repair and improve their relationships has taught me that the blame for bad relationships is not people but rather the pattern of their interactions and the lack of effective, loving communication skills. As a skilled relational therapist, I teach individuals and couples what they need to know to make relationships work. I will teach you how to assert your wants and needs in ways that maximize the possibility of getting what you’re after, to bring your relationship back on track when it goes off course and most of all, how to respect and cherish each other.
In a session with me, you can expect warmth, transparency, genuineness, and humor. I am not a therapist who sits back and nods. I will direct and teach you how to: Identify and articulate your wants and needs, listen and respond appropriately to your partner's wants and needs, set boundaries, stand up for your self, and actively cherish each other.
