About
Psychotherapy is a search to improve the emotional balance in one's life and to adjust the "fit" between personal preferences and social circumstances. By using a variety of strategies, it is often possible to reduce emotional obstacles and to open opportunities for a more satisfying daily life. As a psychologically experienced tour guide, I use academic and practical knowledge and the client-therapist relationship to help clarify thoughts and feelings and to suggest practical "homework".
My clinical practice serves children of all ages, their parents, adult singles and couples, and elders. I also consult with senior citizens and their families on a wide range of issues in the course of which I have learned from the experts about how to grow old gracefully.
