About
Whatever your background, you find yourself here because something in your life is not quite as you'd like it to be. Willingness to engage in a therapeutic relationship can enhance and deepen your sense of wellbeing. Hopefully, you’re open to exploring what might help you feel better as you move forward. My approach is collaborative. My intention is to be as nonjudgmental as possible, to validate whatever it is you’re going through, and help support your desire to enhance your wellbeing. I have experience working with various human difficulties. I appreciate the opportunity to work with each of my clients.
I am currently offering online therapy to clients in FL, MA, NY, and TX. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) models such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as psychodynamic theory models such as IFS and AEDP.
I gained invaluable clinical experience at the Brien Center in Pittsfield, MA, and Green Chimneys in Brewster, NY. Many years of varied life experience inform my sensitivity to issues of cultural and spiritual diversity. Learn more about how to get started by visiting my website: josteinmsw.com
