At Jo NeuroAssessment Center, we work with children and adults with a variety of neurological and psychiatric conditions. These include AD/HD, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, memory disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations which involve in-depth assessment of various cognitive skills such as attention, processing speed, memory, problem solving, language, and visual-spatial functioning, among others. Co-morbid psychiatric conditions such as depression and anxiety may also be a focus of a neuropsychological evaluation.
Patients are often referred to us to determine if they have an underlying brain condition that is impacting their functioning and to find ways to compensate. Family members also often benefit from better understanding their loved ones' condition(s) and from learning how to help them achieve more optimal functioning.
Dr. Jo has specialized post-doctoral training in the understanding of brain-behavior relationships. She has also achieved board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), with subspecialty certification in pediatric neuropsychology.
