My practice focuses on individuals 30 and older, who are experiencing anxiety & depression, grief & loss, the effects of trauma, existential dilemmas, major life transitions including mid-life and end of life, or simply know they have inner work and exploration to do. I work primarily within a Jungian depth psychology tradition which reveals meaning, mystery and connection in the narratives of our lives, dreams and imagination. Dream work is a primary modality of this work.
Other modalities I am trained in and use include IFS, EMDR, DBT skills, meditation, and Buddhist psychology. I hold a masters degree in both neuroscience nursing and social work, and have worked for many years in the areas of end of life care, grief, and loss.
I find there is no distinct separation between the physical, emotional, conscious, unconscious and spiritual, and that all aspects contain tremendous resources for healing, thriving and meaning. I approach therapy as a collaboration based in the healing impulses of each client's own wise being.
