It is my objective, as a clinical psychologist, to create a "safe place" where my clients can feel comfortable enough to risk exploring the issues that contribute to their pain and distress. Together we work to identify these "traumas", to see them in a new light and to discover more adaptive ways of dealing with the stresses that life hands us. I like to work collaboratively with my clients: I am not a silent observer. I believe that it is my job to facilitate personal growth and to help empower others to make the changes that work for them.
I am a clinical and forensic psychologist. Although I only accept forensic referrals directly from the legal community, I have found that my familiarity with the legal system can often be helpful in my clinical, private practice work.
I work only with individual clients. I do not see couples, families, children or adolescents under the age of 20 years. I have office hours on Monday-Thursday.
