I am continually amazed when people take the courageous step of hoping for change and asking for help with that change. I have been in the helping field for 41 years in various capacities. I have experiences that are rich and varied. I am able to draw upon those experiences to assist those adults or couples who are ready to take the plunge! Are you ready to dive in together?
I am trained and experienced in working with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2014. I believe that people will make changes when they are ready and motivated, making Motivational Interviewing my preferred approach.
I am the sole proprietor of my practice and am usually able to schedule appointments within 2 weeks. I am professional and thorough, but will also save you some of the frustrating hassles of dealing with large bureaucracies. I accept most major health insurance plans.
