I have been providing counseling for twenty-eight years with a specialty in treating all types of anxiety disorders from chronic worrying and panic attacks to PTSD and OCD. I find that utilizing a combination of cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness strategies has been extremely effective at reducing and resolving most symptoms of anxiety. Although I have specialized in treating anxiety related issues, I also enjoy, and am skilled at treating depression, grief, and transitional life issues. I am dedicated to the well-being of my clients and believe a holistic approach is necessary for complete healing.
I approach psychological health utilizing various treatment methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused strategies, mindfulness techniques, nutritional and exercise recommendations, and stress management. I have a broad background in various settings including inpatient psychiatry, medical research, health and fitness, and the military.
