The problem is the problem, and the person is not the problem. My role as the therapist is to create a safe but brave space for you and to lean into the inner strength that may be shadowed by past wounds, present stress, or the hopelessness of the future. It is my passion to support clients of Asian descent and international students with racial identity and acculturation challenges. My vision for this work is driven by being a first generation Chinese immigrant and my professional experience. My theories and ideas for therapy are largely derived from narrative therapy model and deconstructionism.
When I am not working, I enjoy working on my vegetable garden, lift hard at my CrossFit gym, biking, reading and cooking authentic Chinese food for my family.
