Jimmy is a trauma therapist who specializes in brain and body-based modalities to help individuals heal from complex trauma, addiction, and emotional dysregulation. He is in long-term recovery, which gives him a deep, personal understanding of suffering, resilience, and transformation. Through God’s grace and a spiritual program of action, Jimmy has embraced wholehearted living, shedding ego and pride to walk a path of integrity, connection, and healing. He integrates EMDR, somatic healing, and polyvagal theory to help clients process trauma, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Jimmy is gifted with the capacity to contextualize, synthesize and communicate complex and nuanced issues pertaining to trauma, attachment & nervous system, including the impact of oppressive systems upon identity, mental health and wellbeing. Healing begins the moment we stop running.

We start from a place of acknowledging three freedoms: Freedom to interpret experiences in any way, not just an illness framework. Freedom to challenge social norms-- including gender norms or other ideas about how we are “supposed to be” in the world. Freedom to talk about anything-- not just voices and visions. Groups are not “treatment” or “psychoeducation”. The primary focus is on making connections and sharing experiences. Everyone present is responsible for creating an environment that centers respect, support and empathy. There is acceptance that voices and visions, tactile sensations and other unusual or misunderstood experiences are real experiences.
