I also have a strong clinical background of 25+ years in private practice as a licensed psychotherapist. This variety and breadth gives me a unique ability to view problems from multiple perspectives, creating strategically sound, actionable solutions.
I always begin my work with clients by identifying specific goals. These range from further advancing one's career to strengthening a resume, to interview coaching, to networking strategies, to techniques for improving on-the-job performance, and to ways pf identifying new career direction. I also assign homework so that progress continues between sessions.
I pay particular attention to the roadblocks (internal or external) that may arise in the process, helping clients deal with the anxiety, uncertainty, and frustration that so often sabotage the best intended efforts.
