About
The problem is not just the overuse of alcohol, drugs, pills or food. It's not too much work, exercise, spending, gambling, or social media. The problem is the "PAIN", and if the pain is not healed, the addiction will continue. We all go through difficult times. Counseling has been proven to help. I have 25 years of experience in the field of addiction/codependency counseling and coaching. I have successfully worked with hundreds of individuals, couples and families affected by addiction issues and other forms of destructive behaviors.
My areas of interest are substance abuse, codependency, relationship issues, young adults, interventions, relapse, anxiety, and depression. I understand the pain and have a wide range of skills. I help my clients find solutions to their problems. I believe in meeting people where they are and listening in a compassionate, sincere, and nonjudgmental space.
My goal with clients is to help them find the courage and strength to manage the unmanageable, knowing that everyone wants to live the most satisfying life that is possible.
