Do you find yourself in a relationship lacking the deep connection you long for? I have extensive training and experience in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT) and believe I can help. I provide a safe place for you and your partner to deepen the bond between you. In our work together, we will pursue insight into what is getting in the way of you experiencing safety and security in your relationship and thus deepening closeness with each other. I also have experience in working with couples whose relationship has been damaged because of an attachment injury leading to challenging relational trauma responses.
In additional to working with couples, I have extensive experience with working with individuals, both adults and adolescents, who find themselves distressed because of anxiety, depression, grief, divorce recovery, and trauma. I have been trained in EMDR and IFS, both highly effective deep psychotherapies to help people impacted by trauma.
Additionally, I am a certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator, a highly effective program for engaged couples who want a comprehensive and rich premarital experience. I am also trained in Discernment Counseling, a process for mixed agenda couples trying to find clarity in their position of either proceeding with couples therapy or terminating the marriage.
