Many clients want freedom to be authentic about who they are but have difficulty believing this is possibility. We learn, together, that believing in and finding compassion for ourselves is an experience of being courageous and vulnerable.
I view the counseling process as an alliance between client and therapist. Clients will understand that the therapeutic relationship is a partnership in which they will be expected to put in the effort in and out of session, be accountable, and be present within counseling sessions.
I integrate Christian spiritual and faith principles into my practice to support individuals and families as they are going through challenges. This is one part that drives me in helping others heal and restore their mental health and relationships.
I specialize in working with adults, service members, veterans, first responders, older adults and their families. I am a Marine Corps Veteran and first responder. I am proud to serve the military, veteran and first responder community.
