Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSWC
I offer results-oriented Cognitive Therapy with an active, problem-solving approach (CBT). Together we address ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, relationship and career issues, and enhancing coping skills for ADHD.. First we discuss your issues and your strengths, then work together to achieve the changes you seek, and the life you want. To achieve goals more readily, we typically agree on new behaviors to practice during the week - then we discuss how it changed your life - and what you learned. I don't sit back, listen and nod: we work as a team to achieve your goals. Veterans welcome.
Even difficulties you've long endured, that seem impossible to change, can often be resolved or improved. If you feel stuck in an unpleasant situation, or powerless to change things, I'm highly skilled at helping people to explore how life could be better, then working together to achieve the changes you seek.
