My strengths lie in creating a supportive, emotionally safe, and affirming environment in the therapy space, where you can gain hope for change. I work with my clients to create treatment plans that address but are not limited to mental health disorders, addictions, failure to launch, grief, difficulties with motivation, and challenging family dynamics. I incorporate aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based practices into my work.
I believe that many of our challenges are rooted in trauma and childhood attachment. Growth can happen when we are able to develop intrinsic motivation to heal, while accepting our own process of progress. I support my clients in doing this with empathy and by instilling self-confidence.
