I currently work for VA Healthcare with individuals with anxiety and depression; post-traumatic stress; anger management; and other mental health concerns. I provide services for individuals, and couples counseling. I love working with people in their quests for positive change. I have experience in a multitude of areas, including working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, Autism, and other severe mental health issues. I have worked with individuals with legal issues, anger management concerns, and those in crisis.
I believe authenticity and empathy are my main attributes. I believe we can remake ourselves, as I have had multiple phases in life including as a Navy Veteran, seminary student, and finally as a psychotherapist. I love work around reframing thought, and also addressing existential, meaning-centered approaches.
I would love to work with those who are looking for an honest and grounded approach to therapy. I hope we can connect and have a productive experience.
