I enjoy helping clients explore alternatives for understanding the past, experiencing the present, and moving into the future. My approach involves talking in plain language and, as appropriate, with a bit of lightness and humor.
I transitioned to counseling after a successful 32-year career as a private practice lawyer in a Tallahassee firm. My life experiences, previous professional history, and compassion help me help clients.
I help clients with relationship issues, toxic workplace concerns, anger management, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, assertiveness training, career choices, and other concerns. I enjoy working with caregivers for the elderly, disabled, or ill. I offer a sliding scale to make counseling affordable to people with limited ability to pay.
