I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska and Virginia. Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor in Nebraska and Virginia. As a mental health and substance abuse counselor, I am committed to helping individuals learn how to change their attitudes and beliefs, while learning strategies to address the root cause of their difficulties. I am passionate about creating resources for individuals who are struggling and hold them accountable for the change they desire.
I have provided therapy in a variety of settings. My experience consists of treatment for co-occurring disorders for both adolescents and adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. I am ASI and CASI certified for substances use evaluations.
As a therapist, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in all areas of my practice. I am an EMDR trained therapist. I specialize in helping individuals with trauma, PTSD, mental health concerns, eating disorders, criminal thinking, and substance abuse issues.
