Does life feel overwhelming right now? Does just getting through the day feel like a challenge? Maybe you are feeling anxious or are struggling with past or present difficult experiences, or family life has become difficult and stressful. Maybe you “have it all together” on the outside but feel lost, hopeless, disconnected, lonely, overwhelmed, or afraid on the inside. Maybe you are navigating understanding your identity in a new way. It is incredibly brave to reach out for support after trying to manage it all on your own. I would be honored to share in your journey toward healing, supporting you with empathy and acceptance.
I'm a trauma-informed therapist who enjoys working with adults ages 21+ by taking a warm, relational approach. Understanding the mind-body connection, I integrate body-based (somatic) techniques with talk-based approaches in therapy. Together, we can reduce your symptoms of anxiety, stress or overwhelm and learn new coping and communication skills.
If you would like, we can also work together on healing wounds from abuse, neglect, toxic/unhealthy relationships, or poor self image/self worth, through EMDR or other trauma-focused treatments.
