Leaders: Alayna Harned, LMHC & Jillian Burley, PsyD - Contact: email@example.com - There are two groups, Wednesdays: 4pm & 5pm. Each group has rolling admission. We ask members to make a 24 week or 6 month commitment. The group is co-led and has 6 members maximum. Each week, group leaders teach a new skill within one of the DBT Skills modules. Members will receive a group workbook and will be required to complete homework outside of the group session. Home practice with the skills is reviewed at the beginning of each group prior to the next skill being introduced.
An intensive 5-day DBT skills bootcamp co-led by Dr. Burley & Alayna McGarty, LMHC (AUGUST 2020). Held on a scenic privately owned farm in Natick, members will have exposure and practice with all the DBT skills from the 4 modules (Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness). We will have a guest yoga instructor, as well as therapeutic time with the farm animals. Meals/snacks will be covered daily and daily schedule will be 9am-4pm.
