Psychologist, PsyD
Jillian D. Burley is not currently accepting new clients.
It takes tremendous courage to begin the process of establishing a psychotherapy. In enhancing self-awareness we can learn how to cope and contend with many of life's challenges--and to begin to live with more ease. As a licensed Clinical Psychologist, I use evidence-based practices in an integrative way, tailoring treatment for individuals based on a shared and on-going discussion of inherent strengths, personal preferences, and psychological needs.
As an active and compassionate listener, I believe in providing clients with practical skills and direct feedback when indicated. As a collaborative process, I highly value open discussion in therapy about what feels to be working well, and what feels to be less effective.
While I work with clients on many different issues, I have particular expertise in health psychology, disordered eating, maladaptive coping behaviors, and often co-occuring mood(i.e., depression) and anxiety disorders.
