My name is Jill Walling, and I am a clinician as well as the owner of Rooted In Hope Counseling. Life is a journey we are all on with unexpected twists and turns in the road. Often, we find ourselves in places or circumstances we did not expect that leave us feeling sad, overwhelmed, anxious, lonely, scared, tired and stressed, but we do not have to do it alone. As humans we are all hardwired to be in relationships with others, so seeking support does not mean we are unequipped for the journey or have failed, it simply means we are reaching out for someone to connect with us, offer support, non-biased insight, and guidance.
I work with individuals couples and families, to help them explore how thinking, feeling and behaving might be impacting their lives and how the past might be playing itself out in the present. I believe exploring people's values, passions, experiences and spirituality allows them to discover true meaning and hope during difficult times.
