About
I know that the process of beginning therapy can be overwhelming because I’ve been there. It takes vulnerability and courage to ask for help. I also know that therapy works because I’ve seen it--in my own life and in the lives of my clients. I congratulate you on taking this significant step toward finding relief and reconnecting with your most authentic self. I’m so glad you’re here. My practice is grounded in my belief that the therapeutic relationship provides a unique opportunity to explore experiences and parts of ourselves that are hard to look at alone. We are all capable of healing, growth and transformation at any point.
Together, we will meet your experience with compassion and view problems as clues about what is missing. While I work with a range of populations, I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are struggling with self-esteem or shame, depression and anxiety, relationship issues, and those exploring sexuality, gender and other aspects of identity.
I strive to create an affirmative and an inclusive space that feels safe for individuals from varying sexual, gender and cultural identities. If it feels like I might be able to help you on your present journey, I’d love to set up a 20 minute consultation call to get a better sense of where you are right now and how you hope to grow.
