I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with over 30 years of experience providing community-based direct care services for individuals and couples and consulting in the development of treatment programs. I know life is challenging at times and it takes courage to admit it and to seek help. Bravo to you for taking this step! I am here to help with: Mood disorders (depression, anxiety), navigating day-to-day life stressors, difficulty adjusting to life transitions/events (career/work issues, retirement, aging, pre-marital or uncoupling needs, etc.), substance use disorders, relationship/dating problems, infertility issues, grief & loss.
I work very collaboratively with clients to set goals and develop individualized, "you-centered" care plans. My goal is to build a therapeutic alliance based on trust and mutual respect.
