I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in working with adolescents and adults around issues of personal empowerment and growth. I specialize in counseling persons who struggle with disordered eating and body image concerns. This includes the entire spectrum of problems people have related to food and weight (i.e. overeating, body image issues, low self-esteem, compulsive eating, restricting, bingeing, purging, and overexercising). I also treat people with chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems.
Additionally, I work with athletes & wellness enthusiasts with regards to life balance, eating body image concerns, training, & performance. I use an eclectic approach chosen to suit each client's needs. These approaches are based on expertise in Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
My work is a collaboration with clients to bring balance back into their lives. To find out more information about my practice check out my website and my DrJillTherapy FB page. I look forward to hearing from you!
