I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified School Social Worker with a Master's degree from Widener University and additional post graduate training focused on the needs of children. Throughout my career, I have worked with children and their families in group homes, partial care programming, wrap around services, and as a School Social Worker. I take pride in creating a safe, warm and nurturing environment for clients to explore their experiences.
I utilize many different treatment approaches including EMDR, Safe and Sound Protocol, play therapy and Sandtray therapy. Children benefit from these forms of therapies due to the developmentally appropriate way they can express themselves in a safe and nurturing space. I am a certified Nurtured Heart Approach trainer for parents.
With over 20 years of experience in the field, I bring a genuine and unique ability to support my clients, and hear them in a way that helps guide them to their self-healing potential. I help parents to shift their lens in terms of their children's needs, making parenting a more effective and positive experience.
