About
I strongly believe in the collaborative nature of therapy -- the creative engagement between the client and therapist, working toward a common goal: to help bring a greater sense of well being to you, the client - to your life, your psyche, your body, your relationships, your career, your home. I have a background in film, which makes working with people from the arts a natural fit (though I love to work with clients from all walks of life).
Relationship concerns, career concerns, depression, anxiety, existential questioning, trauma, bereavement, and addictions are some of the areas in which I have experience. I also have a special interest in working with HSP's (Highly Sensitive People). Additionally, I am currently a therapist for the MAPS Phase 3 MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy for PTSD study.
I provide a safe and supportive environment (and even humor, when appropriate). I am compassionate and empathic. I do believe that finding the right therapist, like any relationship, is largely about chemistry. So I encourage you to come in and see how you feel after we meet. ... (212)219-9577.
