I offer support, reorganizing, and reimagining life for those coping with chronic illness, dementia, and losses of all kinds. If you need help getting through grief that's what I do. For the time being I am online, where I meet clients and lead grief and dementia groups. My grief groups are 8 weeks, focused on working through the loss, and getting you to your new life. The dementia group is the 3rd Saturday of each month at https://www.facebook.com/Riversidedementiasupport/- and it's free of charge. I approach life, and therapy looking for the joy while managing the tough times- not letting them manage life. Call to see me.
I'm a specialist in grief and loss, with an approach I developed over years with hospice and based on current research about how people really grieve- not based on stages or grief being forever. My groups are created from that approach. My dementia work is solution focused and designed to support the entire family. I'm realistic, & have a sense of humor.
My specialties are grief, loss and dementia because I was a hospice social worker. I get what life is like with chronic illness, the ravages of dementia, and when you are watching a loved one die, or are trying to get back from there. I teach therapists how to do grief work nationwide so nobody who is grieving finds a therapist who doesn't get it.

Dementia Support Group and Grief Groups
I lead a dementia support group on the third Saturday of each month at Pacifica Senior Living on Clay Street in Riverside. It is from 10-11:30am. There is absolutely no charge.The group is currently all online. You can email or call for the link to be sent. Grief groups are 8 weeks, and scheduled as needed. They are 2 hours, and the cost is $30.00 per group.
