My name is Jieun Kang (Feel free to call me June). I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I'm working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and trauma. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help my clients work through emotional pain and achieve personal growth and self-love. Through my therapy practice, I have discovered that my style and approach resonate well with adult individuals seeking to understand themselves better and make better life choices.
Sometimes depression, anxiety, stress, or past trauma gets in the way of living your life to the fullest. I like to help my clients process their thoughts and feelings, so they can identify more beneficial perspectives in life, as well as discover personal meaning and purpose.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and insight-oriented. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques, but I tailor them to accommodate the unique needs of each client. I understand that life can present various difficulties.
