I specialize in helping Jewish individuals and couples of all levels of religious observance or communal affiliation to explore and resolve concerns over interpersonal, family and community relationships, life-cycle events, intermarriage, conversion, religious or spiritual questions, the Holocaust, and antisemitism/anti-Zionism. I also help young adults cope with the demands of work, school, socializing, dating, relationships, managing finances, setting goals and generally coping with this surprisingly challenging time of life. More generally, I see anyone needing help dealing with and overcoming depression and anxiety.

I specialize in child centered play therapy with young children ages 2-7 and person centered counseling for adults 20-40. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, neurodivergence, gender and sexual identity exploration, suicide, coping with oppression, and adjusting to life changes. My door is wide open to anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent folks, and polyamorous individuals/families, or anyone looking to do the brave work of understanding themselves more deeply.

I have been treating clients who struggle with eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety and related disorders, life transition issues, grief/loss, and marital and family issues for about 30 years. I also work as a therapist who treats other therapists for their own mental wellness needs and I work as a consultant for therapists starting and/or growing their practices. Clients and families typically come to me for help with diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment implementation, often through referral from another professional or a past client. Often, these clients have tried other treatments and haven’t found optimal results.

I utilize a holistic and integrative approach, drawing upon the techniques of skill-based therapies, such as CBT, ACT, and DBT, as well as more theoretical and attachment based therapies like mindfulness and somatic psychotherapy. I have a passion for helping children and teens work towards wellness, inner peace and fulfill their life goals. I work to teach them emotional awareness and regulation, develop healthy coping strategies, build frustration tolerance and promote problem solving skills. Additionally, I treat college aged individuals and young adults. My experience with the LGBTQ+ community, supporting college students with adjusting it to their new environment and expectations and assisting with Executive Functioning issues and transitioning into their next phase of life has been extremely rewarding!
