As an older queer Jewish woman, I love working with other LBGTQ and straight women and men who are ready to make changes in their lives. I understand what it feels like to be hurt by people you love or to be unable to find peace within yourself. So you're in pain or suffer from anger, or shamed, let me help you help yourself. You can learn to regulate your emotions and change the way you think about yourself and interact with others differently. I know this is difficult as I have had to do this too. Let me help you help yourself walk through the pain and get to the other side. It is time to unburden yourself of your secrets.
I am EMDR certified. My speciality is working with female and male trauma survivors and LGBTQAI+ individuals as they sort through their truths and pain. I offer individual counseling. I also work with individual family members who are distraught and need help learning how to cope with those who may have mental health or substance abuse problem.
I understand how difficult it is to ask for help, giving yourself permission is a part of the process. This might be painful, but sometimes it is important to express that sadness.
