Life provides adversity but you are built to overcome! My mission as a therapist is to empower clients to create the life they want and deserve. My therapeutic style centers around cultivating a supportive relationship to promote personal growth and increased self awareness. I enjoy working with clients to develop coping skills and recognize triggers that may impact growth. I encourage clients to freely express themselves to help with processing events, thoughts or emotions. I highlight strengths within clients to help with navigating the difficulties and struggles that life provides.
I specialize in treating individuals struggling with trauma related issues, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and multicultural issues. I practice from a trauma informed, person centered perspective and use cognitive behavioral, acceptance commitment, and other modalities to help encourage continued emotional and mental growth.
I value authenticity and open communication to provide a safe environment for clients. My approach focuses on cultivating a relationship and environment to help clients navigate emotions and thoughts while strengthening their insight and awareness. Seeking therapy can be a big part in promoting wellness. I welcome you to continue your journey with me
