As a provider of mental health services for over 40 years and a middle-aged woman, I am able to provide insight through my professional and personal experience. Therapeutic techniques are based in heartfelt mindfulness specific to your individual needs. I believe everyone has inherent and intuitive desires towards positive emotional and physical health, my job is only to remind you of what you already know.
Different perspectives are offered to help you clarify, motivate, while providing accountability for you to move in the direction you wish. I am sensitive to contextual implications of perspective, particularly surrounding the impact of the immediate environment, health, belief systems, spirituality and cultural identification.
PhD in Psychology, Capella University. MSW University of Washington Seattle. BS in Psychology, University of Oregon Eugene. My licenses have been in Hawai'i (LSW), Oregon (LCSW) and Washington (LICSW). Certifications include EMDR, yoga teacher training (200 RYT), yoga philosophy immersions (300 hours), play therapy, advanced diver, and mountaineering.
