Here’s some insight into me to help you decide if I am the right person to accompany and support you on your journey. I am passionate about finding the root causes of undesired emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I encourage healing through non-judgmental compassion, psycho-education, and mindfulness.
I practice through a feminist theoretical lens, although I embrace integrative approaches to best suit your unique identity. From this lens, I pull interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and parts work. My work is also highly inspired by Dr. Kristin Neff’s research on self-compassion.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Education & Human Sciences from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University. I am a psychotherapist, forever student, advocate, Chicagoan, dog mom, and human. Here’s a place for us to be human together.
