You've built a capable life. Something still isn't working — in your relationships, in how you experience yourself, in the gap between who you know you want to be and how you actually show up. I work with high-achieving women who are ready to go deeper than symptom management. I also work with couples navigating disconnection, conflict, and the slow erosion of intimacy. You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from couples therapy. You just have to be serious about the relationship.

For individual work: depth-oriented, feminist, and relational. We look at patterns — where they came from, what they cost you, how to change them. For couples: I integrate the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Gottman addresses the patterns. EFT addresses the emotional roots underneath. Together they offer something neither does alone.

I hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and an MBA. My practice is direct, clinically rigorous, and grounded in how high-functioning people actually live. I am in-person in Arlington, MA or telehealth in Massachusetts and Washington. Private pay; superbills available. I am also an approved supervisor for pre-licensed LMHCs in both states.

Mastrangelo Counseling is currently a private pay practice. I do not bill insurance directly. Superbills are available for out-of-network reimbursement. Most PPO plans reimburse 50-80 percent of session costs. I'm happy to walk you through this process.
