My counseling experience includes mental health and addiction treatment, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. I am passionate about helping people who have experienced trauma begin their healing journey and regain their voice. I will work with you to process adverse life experiences whether from childhood or later in life, while working towards uncovering those unhealthy core beliefs that contribute to keeping you feeling stuck, in pain, or down.
My therapeutic approach is a strengths-based approach to help my clients with achieving their evolving therapeutic goals. I use various evidence-based therapy approaches and trauma informed care with my clients. I want each of my clients to feel safe and validated during therapy. I am trained in EMDR and can offer this through telehealth.
Coming to therapy can be intimidating which is why I strive to always show my clients sincerity, compassion, and empathy in a judgement free zone. I want you to communicate your needs with me. My goal is to empower to my clients to take their stories back and rewrite the narrative. I want to help my clients heal and lead better, healthier lives.
