I have worked with families and adolescents in an inpatient facility as well as adults and adolescents in outpatient care. I have worked with individuals experiencing trauma related symptoms, depression, anxiety, attention-deficit disorders, and mood disorders. I generally like to focus on a client's overall wellness. I want to help clients feel more balanced and available to engage in various areas of their lives without feeling overwhelmed and tired. It is my goal to help individuals find and achieve their goals in the different roles we all have daily.
I like to give my clients an open space to say things they feel that they may not be able to say to others. We all censor ourselves with others in our lives and sometimes we just want to get out our feelings and worries without having to find "the right words." I aim to provide a safe and comfortable space for clients to vent while also finding solutions.
We all just want to be heard and understood. I hope to support while you share your story- successes, setbacks, and all the in between. I hope to provide kindness and understanding while helping identify your strengths and tools to get through the tough times as well as maintain wellness.
