| español I am a life transition therapist. I help adults overcome anxiety and the unknown in order to step into new seasons of life with confidence and hope. Transitions can be exhausting. A breakup, leaving your country or the place you used to live or work, losing your health, starting college or grad school are moments when your inner coping resources could fail. Mid life can be hard and confusing. When you lose a loved one, you may feel estranged, angry and traumatized too. Finding a safe space to heal and learn new coping strategies can make a difference. Working with me you will learn new tools to navigate into safe emotional shores.
I have worked for 20 years treating anxious and depressed mood, trauma, the integration of contents of dreams and nightmares, somatic and relationship issues, themes of personal growth. My approach is psychodynamic and integrative, promoting a body-mind-spirit connection. I do trauma-informed, attachment, body focused, and cognitive behavioral interventions.
It has been my privilege to hold the space for those who are in deep emotional pain, witness their wisdom as they make meaning of their suffering, and get ready to move on. I will be a trustworthy and respectful listener during your healing journey, and we will work together in a cooperative manner.
