Whether you are new to therapy or continuing therapy and looking for a new counselor, I understand that transitions are difficult and being vulnerable can take a tremendous amount of courage. I hope to offer you the space where you can feel safe and supported during this transition. I believe that everyone has the opportunity for growth and that we all have the potential to live meaningful, happy lives if we let ourselves. Together, we can explore the challenges that you are facing, and I will provide you with the emotional support and encouragement that is sometimes needed to create positive change.
My interests are in anxiety-related disorders, depression, OCD, complex and generational trauma, women’s issues, grief, life transitions, relationship issues. I utilize a holistic method and consider each client as a multifaceted individual. I incorporate tools from modalities including mindfulness, internal family systems, psychodynamic and CBT.
Struggle is inevitable in life. We may experience various hardships that take away from the joy that life has to offer. As difficult as the journey may be, you don’t have to go through it alone. The prolonged grief that comes from watching a loved one battle chronic illness is a unique struggle and often exists without many spaces to talk about it. This group is meant to hold that space and provide a non-judgmental environment where members can feel supported through their grief and in community with similarly situated people.
