About
As a clinical social worker, I believe in helping clients collaboratively work through the course of their treatment. I have experience using many different approaches to be able to meet each client’s needs. I have had extensive history working with clients with trauma histories, ADHD, behavioral concerns, depression, suicidal ideation, self-injurious behaviors, anxiety, gender identity concerns, challenges in the school system and a variety of other challenges. I believe that it is important to be partners while working toward your goals.
I have used trauma informed care while working with children and adolescents, with also using DBT and CBT approaches to support in empowering them. Along with working with the client, I think it is important to also work with the family system to be able to achieve goals within the household.
Throughout the course of our lives, each person experiences many different experiences that can have them looking back with fondness and some can be painful. I want to be the therapist that works collaboratively with you to be able to express these emotions, be able to cope with these experiences, and improve relationships across settings.
