I bring humor into therapy when it fits, but what really drives my work is curiosity. I like helping people slow down, look at what is going on beneath the surface and understand why they keep running into the same problems. Together, we look at patterns, experiences and habits that may be shaping the problems that brought them in. I use evidence-based approaches to help clients build insight, make practical changes and move toward the life they want.
In our first session, we complete a diagnostic assessment so I can understand the clinical picture. From there, we talk in more personal and practical terms about what is bringing you into therapy, what feels stuck and what you want to change. We then begin mapping out an approach that fits your needs.
