Hello There! I'm so glad you found me, I'm Jessica Schwen, a licensed clinical social worker at Honey Ridge Counseling, Services, PLLC. My goal as your therapy travel guide is to remain curious, open, and to walk with you on this journey on this giant spinning rock of chaos. I offer a very unique modality of therapy called Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy or EFP for short. The amazing thing about EFP is you don't have to have horse experience to be a part of sessions. You can simply come as you are.
Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) is a fancy way to say, "pasture therapy", during your session you will get the opportunity to interact with horses, donkeys, nature, & much more. Horses provide a sense of healing, empathy, love, & provide a non-judgmental space for you to be a part of the herd dynamics. EFP at this agency is not a riding-based therapy.
