Welcome to Brand New Day Counseling! I'm a trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered therapist who values and honors all backgrounds, beliefs, and perspective diversity. I help kids, teens and adults cope with a multitude of mental health issues and psychosocial challenges. My passion is helping clients navigate and redirect how anxiety and mood disorders, stress, OCD, Asperger's Syndrome and other mental health concerns impact all aspects of their lives. I'm honored to be on an empowerment journey with clients who seek practical strategies for growth. My philosophy is to help "humans with humaning," which is hard sometimes!
Together, we'll assess your existing strengths, then build them with coping, communication, decision-making, emotional regulation, problem-solving, goal-setting strategies, and more. We'll address your unique circumstances so that you can cope with current and future challenges confidently- and feel more at peace and accepting of the past without judgment.
