About

Welcome to Brand New Day Counseling! I'm a trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered therapist who values and honors all backgrounds, beliefs and perspective diversity. I help kids, teens and adults cope with a multitude of mental health issues and psychosocial challenges. My passion is helping clients navigate and redirect how anxiety and mood disorders, stress, OCD, Asperger's Syndrome and other mental health concerns impact all aspects of their lives. I'm honored to be on an empowerment journey with clients who seek practical strategies for growth. My philosophy is to help "humans with humaning," which is hard sometimes!
Together, we'll assess your existing strengths, then build them with coping, communication, decision-making, emotional regulation, problem-solving, goal-setting strategies and more. We'll address your unique circumstances so that you can cope with current and future challenges confidently- and feel more at peace and accepting of the past without judgment.
The value of the therapeutic relationship is that we amplify each other's work! I'm not here to "fix" anything for you, but to provide a safe, trusting relationship that fosters a sense of understanding, acceptance, confidence, deeper connection and healing. New hope and strength can help us to remember -and be grateful- that every day is a brand new day!
